March Project: Desk Revamp
There’s this deck that is less than 40 feet from touching the clear water of a lake that holds the most sacred places in my heart. It’s connected to a cabin that has been my family’s vacation destination for the same week in August for the past twenty years. It’s a familiar space with gorgeous views, and it has the capability to unleash floods of memories. If there ever was a place more conducive to productive thinking, I haven’t found it. Skin is comfortable. It fits all nice and snug, careful to keep your inners from peeking out. If it’s taken care of it can be smooth and healthy, but those pesky dry spots rarely leave us be. Well, that’s another Valentine’s Day in the books! It’s fun to dedicate one specific day to your loved one, to shake up the predictable monotony of a regular week and reflect on who you love and why you love them. Not only is it a time to show love to those family members, spouse, and friends that are special to you, but it’s also a beautiful reminder of the love that God has for us and we for Him. Valentines Day. Yup, it’s coming up, and are you, dear reader, prepared? Those of you with significant others, do you find it’s really hard to come up with something for your sweetie that’s not cliché, ridiculously expensive, or something they already have?
